Christmas gifts from the kitchen with cinnamon

Oh, delicious Christmas! Gifts that are homemade by heart are simply the most beautiful, right? So today I brought you some ideas for Christmas presents from the kitchen. And as Christmas smells like cinnamon for me, my favorite winter spice plays the lead role today.
Delicious Christmas is upon us
It's really unbelievable how time is racing. Tom's first Christmas, the first Christmas market visit and the first winter are in the starting blocks. With a child, the clocks turn a lot, much faster than before. We look forward to relaxing holidays with both grandmothers and both grandpas, on hopefully snowy woods and on many treats.
I love the home-baked cookies from my father-in-law, Mama's Christmas menu and the many delicacies that end up on the gift table.
At home, only the children are given a gift. For us adults, there is a "little thing", which is well-known always synonymous interpretive;)
Gifts from the kitchen with lots of cinnamon
My" little things "are usually lovingly wrapped gifts from the kitchen. This year, fresh from my Christmas bakery, there are delicious ideas with cinnamon - cinnamon cookies and delicious spicy nuts . A fine orange-cinnamon salt and cinnamon syrup .It tastes especially good in the cold season. I also love cinnamon very much in pastry!Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Christmas Spicy Nuts
Christmas spiced nuts with cinnamon and vanilla are the perfect sweet nibble for the advent season.Roast for 15 minutes.
Orange cinnamon salt
Orange cinnamon salt with mint and orange peel tastes pleasantly fruity and goes well with salads, shrimp and also Meat dishes. But also to yogurt and milk rice I love him totally! The syrup will also fill a door of my Advent calendar:)- 200 g Sugar
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- 250 ml Water
- Melt the sugar in a saucepan while stirring.Next deglaze with water.
- Whisk until the sugar has solidified while stirring .
- Now add the cinnamon sticks and the syrup with lid closed and on medium flame approx Allow to cook for 20 minutes.
- Fill the syrup into a sealable glass and allow to cool .
