Asparagus in aluminum foil cooked with turkey fillets and basil rocket pesto
Spring is here! At the temperatures you really get the appetite for light food. And since I'm a big fan of vegetables, I was really happy when I bought the first German asparagus today.
I love asparagus and once I ventured on a fine pesto with vegetables. Sure, the classic hollandaise is great, but with pesto asparagus can really be seen. As a side dish I have grilled turkey fillet and a rocket salad with strawberry.
I always prepare asparagus in the oven, wrapped in aluminum foil, so it retains the great flavor.

- For the asparagus cooked in aluminum foil you need:
- 500 g Asparagus
- tin foil
- 2 EL Butter
salt Sugar - For the pesto you need: 1 Bund Basil
- approx.Peel the asparagus and cut off the woody ends. For the asparagus packets, fold two large pieces of aluminum foil twice and spread 4 asparagus stalks on each. Spread the butter in little flakes, salt and sugar on the asparagus and add a few basil leaves. Close the packets and cook for 25 - 40 minutes, depending on the thickness of the asparagus spears.
Enjoy it!

With my recipe I participate in the blog event of Kochliebe. A beautiful blog - have a look at Julia:)

And because you can never get enough of fresh asparagus, I also submitted my recipe at the Olga - puhlskitchen.com blog event. Really great pictures and great recipes:)
