Chicken Wraps with Honey Mustard Dressing
Easy Chicken Wraps
These chicken wraps combine tender seasoned chicken, crisp lettuce, fresh vegetables, and a sweet, tangy honey mustard dressing. They work well for a quick lunch, light dinner, or make-ahead meal.
Ingredients
For the wraps
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cooked chicken breasts, sliced or chopped
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the honey mustard dressing
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Make the dressing: Whisk the mustard, honey, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and salt together until smooth. Taste and adjust the balance with additional honey or mustard if desired.
- Warm the tortillas: Heat each tortilla briefly in a dry skillet or microwave until flexible.
- Fill the wraps: Place lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cheese, and chicken along the center of each tortilla. Spoon honey mustard dressing over the filling.
- Fold and roll: Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then roll it tightly around the filling.
- Serve: Cut the wraps in half and serve immediately with extra dressing on the side.
Helpful Variations
- Use grilled, roasted, breaded, or leftover rotisserie chicken.
- Add sliced avocado, red onion, bacon, or shredded carrots.
- Replace the flour tortillas with whole-wheat or spinach wraps.
- For extra heat, stir hot sauce or cayenne pepper into the dressing.
Make-Ahead Tips
The dressing can be prepared in advance and refrigerated in a covered container. To keep assembled wraps from becoming soggy, dry the vegetables thoroughly and pack the dressing separately until serving.
