Low carb turkey rolls on mixed salad
I usually fry the turkey strips and add them to the salad, but today I wanted to try something different. The result is impressive, right? There's a honey-mustard dressing for the salad.
Turkey rolls (suff for 2 persons):
- 2 thin turkey schnitzel
- 2 slices of raw ham
- herb cream cheese
- mozzarella cheese - 1 tomato
- basil
- salt, pepper and mixed herbs.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Put the turkey escalopes on a piece of aluminum foil and season with salt and pepper from both sides. Cut the tomato and mozzarella into thin strips.
Spread the schnitzel with herb cream cheese and cover with the ham. Place the tomatoes, mozzarella and 1 - 2 basil leaves on the first third of the schnitzel. Season with salt, pepper and herbs.
Then roll up the turkey escalopes with the aluminum foil and twist the ends together like donut paper. Put in the oven for about 30 minutes.
Honey mustard dressing:
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3 tablespoons Yoghurt
- Salt, pepper, garlic
- 1 tablespoon Balsamico bianco
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Put all ingredients together in a container and mix well.
Salad:
- mixed green salad
- 1 carrot
- 1 red pepper
1 tomato
- 1/2 cucumber
- cress
- Parmesan
Grate the carrot and spread on the plates. Put some oil over it. Chop the pepper, cucumber and tomatoes. Mix the green salad with the dressing. Serve everything on the plates and garnish with watercress and Parmesan cheese.
In the meantime, the turkey rolls should also be ready:)
